              A guy I went to high school and TCU with finished his CFA last August. He started taking guitar classes because he didn't know what to do with all of his time.

                  "Recommended" time for each level is 300-350 hours. Level 1 had about 2500 pages of material; level 2 about 3000; and level 3 has 2300 pages. The exams are only offered once a year. I passed level 1 in 2008 and level 2 in 2010 with the MBA in there as well. When I started my job out here in SF, I had to pass the b.s. FINRA series exams too - series 7, 63, 6, 86, 87.
