Been there a few times but just seeing if I have stumbled by a place without noticing it. Most of the time we eat at places like Acme, Drago's, Felix's. Ate a Brennan's once but was not overly impressed.

Mother's for breakfast or lunch. Cafe du Monde obviously. Central Grocery or Johnny's for a PO boy.
For dinner... K Paul's, Commander's Palace, Arnaud's, Court of Two Sisters,Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

So much good food in NO, but I always make it a point to have dinner at K-Paul's when I'm in town. If you are looking for something different, check out chowhound, they always have good recommendations, many times lesser known places.2016 Chevrolet SS 6M

Cafe du Monde & Mulates. I've never been to the New Orleans location but there used to be one in Baton Rouge that had good food & often live Cajun music. Nothing fancy but a comfortable place.

K Paul's is my favorite dinner spot of all I listed, btw. For those that don't know, it's Chef Paul Prudhomme's place.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

I second Commander's Palace, along with Cochon, Napolean House, Cafe du Monde and Capdeville for a chill afternoon.Originally posted by bcoop View PostMother's for breakfast or lunch. Cafe du Monde obviously. Central Grocery or Johnny's for a PO boy.

Bacco Lobster Ravioli is superb unfortunately they are in the process of finding a new location, Commander's Palace, Muriel's Jackson Square, Willie Mae's Scotch House for unbelievable fried chicken, Nola, The Joint (non-tourist dive BBQ), Central Grocery for a Muffaletta, and Cafe du Monde to start the day.

I suppose I'm one of very few who appreciates the history, the culture, and the sights. NO is the only thing worthwhile in LA. Shreveport is far worse IMO. Politics may not be as crooked there, but it still sucks out loud.Originally posted by JimD View PostX2Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
