You missed the point. He didn't choose to like men. Not that he liked it so much he decided to not live life in the closet. Just wow.

Please DJ, don't insult my intelligence. Pedophilia and homosexuality are obviously different things. But is it really a stretch that a pedophile would want to be a scout leader?

It wasn't until junior-high to high school that we even did multi nights.
I was in Cub Scouts and we did several outings, but you are right, I was closer to 8-9 years old at the time. A Webelos.

Good for you. You don't have an issue with it. Some other people might. Yes I'm aware there are gay teachers. And? Are we talking about schools now?

Well some parents want their children to be exposed to other adults and different social settings, as well as gather basic skills that will help them their entire life.

Don't paint me to be a homophobe. I'm not. I just CLEARLY see why parents wouldn't want this.

That passage mentions nothing about homosexuality.

    Pretty much.

It's also not commonplace for both adults to just leave their kiddo by himself with the troop. Parent participation is highly recommended, regardless of who is the Scout Master. I thoroughly enjoyed being a Scout Master. I was instrumental in helping a lot of kids grow up with some real sense of confidence and understanding of other people.

Paul, you would be able to help Jr. get an understanding for other people at your whim if you would be a part of his troop, as well as all the other things you currently do.

I do everything i am humanly capable of to be the best man i can for my son. i am looking in the best interest of my son. i dont know anything about being gay, i do know about being a grown man that is respectful and responsible for his actions. that said maybe thats the reason i coach Jr's baseball, soccer, and basketball.
and for christs sake geor is gayer than a bag of unicorn dicks but i still love the guy. please dont paint me as a hatemonger.

    god bless.
Just a passing thought, but perhaps it would be easier for gays if straight men and women didn't make life so hard for them.
