Lol. I have been looking for a civic hatch. I get 23-25 mpg in my s-10 so I am looking for 40+ and under $2k. The only obstacle is moving barracades and signs around the neighborhood, though I am not above hauling baracades hanging out of the hatch!

Thank you for all of the kind words! I am finally able to afford to live and save money. I have some debt left to pay off, primarily student loans. I should, if things keep going like they are, have them paid off in a couple of years. We are looking to buy a starter home as soon as we find something that fits our taste and budget. This had allowed that to be a viable option.

It is a great feeling to be able to pay the bills and not stare at a zero balance and wonder how to make it to pay day.

Now to find a cheap beater to cut my fuel bill!

I was floored when they told me what the increase would be. I was hoping to match the $4k I got at 6 months when they did my annual review in May. Even without that I would have been happy to be with a great company with a bright future. When they told me a 15% increase, I am sure I looked like a cartoon when my eyes bugged out. An increase of just short of 28% of my initial salary in 10 months.
