Not digging the head lights. I like the 05-09s the best.

Its accuracy is also completely suspect. Probably not terribly far off, but it's highly likely that it's only marginally representative.Originally posted by Geor! View PostIt was atrocious then, too.
Also, the rate that current car news travels on this site is chuckle-worthy. Hell, apparently the McLaren P1 was a revelation when someone posted about it last week. Did you guys know that there's a new Corvette coming out?!

Not digging the retro look anymore. Hoping for something more on the line of the SHO Tarus. My guess is that the front bumper is gone, replaced by the wide mouth look.

It's all incestuous. Ford owns Aston, whose designer went to Jag. I can't even keep track of which automakers own each other any more, the last 10 years has been crazy. Hell, Lambo is owned by Audi now iirc.

Fins? Blockish 80s styling? Too much roundness in mid-to-late 90s styling? Coke-bottle fenders on 60s muscle cars?Originally posted by talisman View PostIt's all incestuous. It always has and it always will. This isn't a new phenomenon.
Ford doesn't own Aston anymore, fwiw. They did own Jaguar as well but sold Jag off to Tata Motors. Aston is its own independent firm, for now.
And yes, Ian Callum was brought up in the Ford design hierarchy before going to Aston and then Jaguar. His brother, Moray, is head of North American design for Ford. It's not much of a stretch.

Audi/VW has owned Lamborghini for a long time. I believe starting in '06, lambo shared a lot of stuff with Audis; brakes, instrument clusters, radios/navigation/etc. The R8 is just a tamed Gallardo. In fact, when my roommate needed to replace the 02 sensor on his CPA special, he went to autozone with the Audi part # in hand, and it cost ~$60.Originally posted by talisman View PostIt's all incestuous.
