Or something of that nature. I know it's a long shot. I need to be able to refrigerate two five gallon buckets, side by side at a time. Top and bottom could work as well. The footprint of those soda merchandisers seem to best fit my space requirements. A two door bar back fridge would be awesome but they are crazy expensive at used prices.

Yeah, as long as they had enough room for the bucket with about a foot of clearance above. The only reason I'm looking for something that could handle two at once it because I have to regulate the temperature with an external unit, so two singles would mean two regulators. If I found two singles at the right price, an extra regulator wouldn't kill the idea.Originally posted by black2002ls View PostWould some a pair of the half size single door coolers work?

Those merchandisers are giant piles of shit.
Jimmy, call Metroplex Refeigeration in Ft Worth. Hit whatever option it is for "used sales". Ask for Mike Brooks. Tell him I sent you.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

There is usually shit all over Craigslist. Go to appliances. Search "Delfield", "True", or "Traulsen". And feel free to call me. I can offer advice, opinions, etc. I can sell you a new one, but you won't like the price.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

When it comes to commercial, they are always worth something.Originally posted by Scott Mc View PostDamn, I gave one away a few years ago. Yeah, I saw that one but it's way more than I want to spend and much larger than it needs to be. That's why I was aiming more at the smaller, less than stellar ones. It's only going to be used for temperature controlled fermentation. An old kegerator will work, but limits me to one batch at a time.Originally posted by bcoop View Posthttp://dallas.craigslist.org/sdf/app/3610702638.html

Anything commercial is going to cost you.. If you want cheap, buy two residential refrigerators. Back bar coolers are going to cost you a lot, AND they will cost a ton on your electric bill. Beer refrigerators aren't designed to be energy efficient.Originally posted by Tyrone Biggums View PostYeah, I saw that one but it's way more than I want to spend and much larger than it needs to be. You could also buy a deep freeze and convert it. This is going to be your best bet cost wise.

Space is main reason. I already have a full size in the garage and a chest freezer.Originally posted by black2002ls View PostWhat about a regular fridge? I bought a used, older side by side for $60

Yeah. I'm already converting one chest freezer over for the kegs. I might just do two. The one for fermentation needs to stay around 60-65 degrees and I can't think of a better option.Originally posted by bcoop View PostAnything commercial is going to cost you..
