Agreed I've never been a smoker and never will be, however a couple times a year I'll get drunk and decide a cigar is a good idea. The next morning I get up and absolutely hate myself for the way my mouth taste and hands, hair, clothes etc smell. I just don't understand how people can deal with that on a daily basis.Originally posted by Kenny_Stang View PostThat statement can be made of all people who smoke, period.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't mind the smell from a distance; however, being in a cloud of that smoke makes me sick. I don't smoke, so it's not like I have a tolerance for it or anything.
What I think is hilarious are the dudes that walk around with them in their mouth acting like they are in high cotton or some big-wig like Scarface. It's hard to be "classy" with a 25 cent cigar in your mouth!

I switched from Marlboros to Black & Milds about 3 years ago. The smell/taste of cigarettes started to make me sick at my stomach after having been a cigarette smoker for 10+ years. My reason for switching... the smell of cigarettes...I don't wake up with a cough anymore since I don't inhale (unless accidental), I spend about 10% of what I used to on tobacco, I only smoke in open designated areas, and every single time I'm smoking someone comments on how good it smells. I LOVE the smell of burning pipe tobacco, I just can't stand the smell of stale, extinguished tobacco anything. That shit's just NASTY regardless of tobacco type. No one tries to "bum a smoke". If you'll notice, more often than not cigarette smokers say "hey man, can I bum a smoke? I just quit" My answer was, "No you didn't quit smoking, you quit paying for 'em"Originally posted by Gear_Jammer View PostMaybe I'm crazy, but I don't mind the smell from a distance; however, being in a cloud of that smoke makes me sick. Now I don't even have to worry about it. My cheap ass smokes are all mine, a $4 5-pack lasts about 3 weeks, the smell is less offensive (by the opinion of a few people), and I'm out about $87 a year on tobacco products.
If I get too tipsy and pull a good drunk, I'll end up with a big fucking cuban cigar by the end of the night. THOSE STIIIIIINK but damnit... they're so damn good

LOL as did I, but alas the love I have for this place exceeds the amount of shit I catch from the collective masses LOLOriginally posted by DON SVO View PostI cringed as I opened this thread knowing what half of the tags were going to be. I've been around smokers all my life, not being a smoker I never realized just how bad they smell until I stopped living with them. I'm not going to bash smokers, i tell them it's an expensive, nasty habit and leave it at that. The same can be said about my racing, to each his own. But I will admit I like the smell of pipe tobacco, but I doubt I could deal with the smell on a daily basis though.

Pipe Tobacco smells excellent in the bag or lit. I agree.Originally posted by racrguy View PostI've been around smokers all my life, not being a smoker I never realized just how bad they smell until I stopped living with them. That's unfortunate knowing you could've used that opportunity to just quit.Originally posted by MutherjuggZ View PostI switched from Marlboros to Black & Milds about 3 years ago. The smell/taste of cigarettes started to make me sick at my stomach after having been a cigarette smoker for 10+ years.
