The simple fact is that your dog, though "well behaved" in your eyes, is apparently doing more than just a little barking, and you need to take responsibility for that. Be the bigger person and go talk to her in a calm manner. She may very well realize how much what she did bothers you and apologize, and in seeing that you are aware of the problem and trying to correct it, may be more tolerant to the barking while you take corrective action.
Worst-case is she stays pissed, you get more pissed, and the dueling banjos start playing. Load up a water gun with diesel fuel, write "fuck you" in her lawn with it, and watch it wilt in. Then have fun dealing living right next door to someone that will likely start calling the cops for every little thing, and snarl at her every time you go get the mail.
