When my neighbor's dog is out, he won't ever shut up. When my dad lived here, he stuck his head through the fence and snapped at my dad. 2 days later my dad caught him mouth open and maced the shit out of him. He acts much better now.

If the Owner is out there with the dog, and knows it is barking and won't shut up, that is very different. I just don't understand why people are such pussies these days. If a neighbor is doing something that annoys me, I knock on their door. I don't call the cops unless I've talked to them and given them a chance to correct whatever it is.

My wife's dog gets in trouble from us for barking at rabbits in the back if it ever barks at the neighbors it will be in big trouble.
Feel better now?!

I told my daughter she is obligated to spray the neighbor if she witnesses our dog getting sprayed again.
Dogs bark. It is what they do. We keep him in at night , this neighbor is just being difficult and really doesn't understand the dog will come over the fence and is being prevoked to do just that.
I guess when I get back to town a trip over there with him on a leash is in order. I don't advocate violence but hey, a person can only take so much. Right?

Man you just made yourself sound like white trash and pretty much admitted your dog being sprayed with water is cause enough for violence.
Shit your dog up and stop being an annoying neighbor.
My dog will bark 1 time to be let in and that's it.

If the dog is a barker the neighbors can call the authorities to handle it. Hosing the dog down is F)*@$# especially when its so cold out.

This, too; but I still hate passive aggressive people. One of my neighbors called the police for a noise complaint (barking dog). When they came, I wasn't home. My next door neighbor was in the driveway, (we have j swing drives that run between the two houses), and spoke to the officer, and asked why he was poking around in my backyard. He mentioned the noise complaint. Of course, when he was back there, the dog was going ape shit. And she told him, "well no shit, you're in his territory, he's doing what he is supposed to do."
Now, I'm more prone to let him bark more. Fuck him, and fuck the neighbors that called. I still don't know who it was. And I don't know how the neighbor that called would know either. My next door neighbor has two dogs. The people behind me have 3. Caddy corner behind my house, they have 2 dogs. There is absolutely no way anyone could have narrowed down which dog was barking prior to calling the police. That shit irritates the hell out of me. When the barking was taking place, I had been inside cleaning house, which is why he was outside. Dishwasher was going, washing machine was going, as was the dryer. If he was barking, I couldn't hear it. Knock on the fucking door before you file a noise complaint, you punk ass cocksuckers. I'd have brought him in had I known he was disturbing anyone.

I'm about to take a paintball gun to the dogs behind my house, it's non stop barking anytime I'm in my backyard. We can't even swim in the pool that's 50 foot from the fence without them going apeshit. If I was right by the fence I could understand it but this is anywhere. People should train their dogs to behave. A dog that gets "excited" needs training. My four dogs will only bark at the other dogs when they bark and stop as soon as I tell them to.
