Honda Pilot. It gets great gas milage, it seats 8, and has all of the modern entertainment equipment. They are extremely reliable and look pretty good. You can get them in 4wd too.Originally posted by BuzzoSome dudes jump out of airplanes, I fuck hookers without condoms.

Agreed. It's a pretty unique vehicle and not much else out there that really compares in terms of price, mpg, and available space/seating. The styling is love/hate, but other than that I think it's a solid buy. I travel a lot for work and have rented lots of them over the last few years. The seats are pretty unsupportive and shitty, but other than that I love them.Originally posted by jdgregory84 View PostI still think that the Ford Flex's are the shit.- Darrell

Your '10 Slade is going to drop less in value than you trading it out now for another SUV and then it's value plummeting. If I were you, I'd keep driving the '10 until the new one's come out. They will be class-leading without a doubt from what I've read. DI 6.2, possible 8-speed auto, brand new interior/exterior, all the latest electronics, etc.Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostI just want something that looks as good, but does better then 12 mpg. The new body is coming out soon so I wanna unload it before it plummets in value.

In a few years, when I trade my '12 CTS-V, I will look very seriously at getting into a new Denali or Escalade. I really miss my '08 Yukon Denali. As much as I love my V, the Denali was just very comfy, reliable, and capable (hauling/towing). I'm doing a lot more track events now with a 2nd set of race wheels/tires, so not having a truck now is a PITA.Ford

our Edge doesn't have 3rd row, but has the 3.5 V6 and we get 22-24 on the highway, roughly 18 in the city. im not 100% on the #'s, my wife drives it. she LOVES the Edge's but i was thinking about looking into a new Explorer.Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostMy oldest is 5'9 and he's the biggest. The third row is a joke in any of the Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade SUV. I'm looking at the Lincoln's right now. I don't necessarily care about power, just as long as its nice interior wise and gets better mpgs.

We traded our Flex on an Edge last December, it has been real consistent around 20-21mpg mixed driving, and as good as 24-25 straight highway. So far we both really like it too....my wife's only complaint is that it doesn't have the third row nor quite the bells/whistles that the Flex had, but still a great little SUV all around.Originally posted by jlyon View Postour Edge doesn't have 3rd row, but has the 3.5 V6 and we get 22-24 on the highway, roughly 18 in the city. im not 100% on the #'s, my wife drives it. she LOVES the Edge's but i was thinking about looking into a new Explorer.

As for the Flex - We couldn't get rid of that thing quick enough...I'd suggest anyone thinking about one to stay far away from the EcoBoost AWD option....that thing was a constant headache with transmission problems, and the dealerships telling us they couldn't fix it just made it that much worse. If you don't take my word for it, go creep on the Flex forums....you'll see quite a common theme.

Otherwise the Flex was very roomy and pretty comfortable. The standard 3.5 is a bit piggy in such a heavy car, but I've heard MPG is actually a bit better than the E-Boost in those.70' Chevelle RagTop

3 kids would be tight but i love my Touareg TDI...... 25-28 mpg usually (depending on how i drive it)

Q7 though i agree the 3rd row isn't much of anything....

Grand cherokees are coming with Diesels later this year i believe... I have an 07 CRD also, other than the old models having crap for headroom i love it also, the newer ones are roomy compared to mine...

Either way i would sport a diesel......
