Your argument has more holes than Swiss cheese. Like I said, poor example. Please try again.

You're basing your opinion on protecting everyone by removing the ability for people to make good/bad choices. At the end of the day it only affects folks like myself, because now it is illegal for me to do something I'd enjoy. I do not smoke because it is illegal, but I do consume a lot of beer and piss a lot - because that is legal.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostNo, it's really not. Then there are the grey area people who closet do drugs and most people would never know it.
Alas, then the dumb asses are still dumb asses out there for you to arrest.
I typically strongly disagree with a few people posting in this thread, however just like bad drunks - people who can't be responsible with drugs (whatever type) are still going to be there for you to arrest. In my opinion in your "victimization" scenario is crap - it's still there and drugs are illegal!

So why should their monumental situations dictate what I do?Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostThat's fucking weak. Do you remember the mom with the kids in the soccer van that you cut off and possibly made them wreck out causing injury that happened 22 years ago??? Also, perception is the key here. What is "inconsequential" to you may be monumental to someone else.
What's the difference, outside of its legal status? Is drinking or smoking illegal?
What's surprising is someone who has never even smoked a cigarette. Have you ever had an alcoholic beverageNot surprised.
You didn't listen to what I said.Pro Liberty huh? So much as to where it infringes on other's freedoms???
Not surprised. And I've said it before, I've NEVER smoked a cigarette, much less weed.

Lol, yeah smoking weed really infringes on people's rights. But that's only from a black market created by prohibition policies.

Is drinking or smoking illegal?Originally posted by racrguy View PostThis would have been the more appropriate statement. More to that point, would you arrest someone because they were drinking around their children, what about smoking cigarettes?
Not surprised.Originally posted by racrguy View PostI don't see how it's relevant, but I'll play your little game. Not with ANY sense of regularity, no. I can count on one hand the number of times I smoked in the past 15 years.

Why are you so pro-drug laws? Have you EVER smoked pot?
