Theres also talk of the cam in cam design for 2012Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostI love the new mustang, I love the new camaro. I think it's great they both have new platforms for each car.
The 2011 vert cars are being introduced as we speak, the 2012 Z28 will be introduced this year. GM has played it's cards very well spreading the demand out for the Camaro. The new V6 motors is supposed to be 325 HP and talks are on the table of it being turbo charged.
I am a GM guy and I am happy "Americans" are buying american cars.

Is "American cars" means Mercedes built in Alabama, Toyotas built in Texas or something else?Originally posted by OrangeChevyII View PostI am a GM guy and I am happy "Americans" are buying american cars.class joke

That demand showed, and should propel the brand to improve in the future. GM better keep up the quality and appeal that this brand deserves, and innovate to keep up with it's ever improving competition.Originally posted by Sgt Beavis View PostYup, a faster selling but slower car..
K think there are a lot of factors for the Camaro selling better... for instance it is a genuinely good car. Then there is all that pent up demand that spilled over from 2009. Of course there is Fords mistake of offering the 2010 Mustang with lots of mid cycle improvements but with obviously outdated drivetrains.
It certainly didn't hurt the Camaro that it was featured in one of biggest movies of 2009 nor does it hurt that it is a pretty damn good looking car.
But it's still slow..
I sincerely hope that GM keeps the ball rolling on this.

Do you really think the V8 sales make up the majority of those numbers?Originally posted by poopnut2 View PostProbably because the 5.0/3.7 engines were announced for 2011 and nobody wanted to "waste" money on a new mustang until the new engines were available. I have a feeling mustang sales will put camaro sales to shame next year.
