We have the Philips Avent and love it. Tried several others that were just annoying. The avent has a light as well so you can mute and just watch the light. I would also suggest that you stay away from the angel care sids crib monitor. It was a pain in the ass and we sold it shortly after we bought it. We found the SNUZA diaper clip sids monitor that was phenomenal. I loved that thing.

I love ours. For the week I was home using it, I loved it and my wife has no complaints either. Has pan tilt zoom a light and you can speak to he kiddo through a speaker. Made by Summer Infant if memory serves me.

The only time I ever used ours was if I was outside in the garage while the baby was asleep. It has a hiss if you crank the volume way up but I just needed it up enough to know she was awake.

We paid lots for a wireless one with a screen and a seperate handheld portable, and it flat out sucks. It pops and crackles all night long. I never thought about a webcam.

This is the last thing we have left to get and as I keep reading reviews, they all seem to suck. So I was thinking of just setting up a wifi webcam in there and using it.
Anyone done this before? Have any issues with it?Tags: None
