yea... seems russia gave us a heads up. i bet they checked him out but he was clean. probably assumed if he was a threat, it was to russia [chechnya vs russia.. that might make some sense], not us.

the big mistake was to not deport him on his visa when he was arrested for assault in that domestic issue.

Are you listening to the Bill O'Reilly show? The Intel reports they have are making me sick. The older brother left to Chechnya to learn how to make bombs then returned. He was questioned two years ago by the FBI. And now this.

Why wasn't he recognized on day one by the FBI if they had his pic an obviously some sort of file on him?

Hindsight is 20/20, and they will probably never release ALL the info they had on him because it would make them look horrible.
