Got a free Sony Xperia Z today that I'm trying out for two weeks until it gets released on T-Mobile. So far it's not bad.

I'm rocking the LG spectrum and the speaker blows.

How was the speaker on it? I know the Z2 is supposed to have a better one. I have my choices down to the GS4 the xperia Z1 and the nexus 5.

I want to get the S4 mini or the HTC one mini. I have the S3 and I like it fine but I think it's too big for what I use it for. My contract is up in July and I'm sure by that time they'll have a mini version of whatever flagship phone is out. Going to try Ting mobile out as well.

Honestly I haven't timed charging either way since I haven't burned through the battery in a day. The power supply for the wireless kit is a 2 amp unit, but I would guess there is some loss in charging wirelessly vs. wired.

I still charge mine with the stock charger at night. I have the wireless charging pad sitting on my end table so it can charge while i'm watching TV or playing video games.

The stock charger charges the huge battery very quickly

The battery life is amazing. I surf wifi all day and night and this thing stays charged.

I've had my note3 for 2 weeks now and love it. Wasn't too sure about the difference in size versus my S2, but no problems so far.

There is a wireless charging kit from Samsung for $100 - that comes with a slightly thicker back to accommodate the charging receiver. For ~$30 on amazon I bought the charging pad and the charging receiver and it works like a champ. The receiver fits in the stock battery cover and allows me to use the same case as before.
