I'm just wondering what the tax revenue generated would be vs money from seizure/forfeitures. Does money incoming from taxation outweigh money coming in from seizure/forfeiture?

I bet they spend more on the operations that net the seizures than the dollar amount of the actual seizures. I would think taxing it would increase the revenue exponentially over what is currently netted from seizures.

IIRC, I believe the court costs for a seizure are $300, so to make a seizure, the net has to be more than $300.
