Shiiiiit, my first home was indeed a shack. Didn't buy a home until I was 25. I lived in 5 cities within 6 years, so there was no need. Bought a 1500sqft shack just to have something of my own. I think it was a whopping $109k, but I didn't care. I ended up getting married and we moved for better job opportunities. Decided we would just rent the house out and make some extra coin....dumb dumb dumb. Did that for a year, evicted the people, spent $5k out of pocket just to get it sellable and then got rid of it.
