Play Music Through Apple TV While Playing Xbox?

Like the title says, I want to be able to listen to music through my Apple TV while playing xbox. Can it be done? I have a Yamaha sound system so all my HDMIs go into the receiver and Apple TV is in the 4 slot, Xbox is in the 2 slot and it's pick one or the other for sound.

I know there has to be a way to do this. Thanks in advance!

There is a way if you have a receiver that supports it. You should be able to play the audio from the apple TV and the video of the Xbox at the same time. Check your manual.
