I think they did this last winter or the one before. They were announcing closings at 6pm for the next day because of the snow ect they thought was going to happen. Guess what... it didn't!

I havent seen it either. I bet it has to do with the timeframe, since yesterday's school got hit, parents are extra cautious, and it is after the state's testing, just mostly review time for finals, so closing early wont hurt as much as having half the students pulled and others stuck there.

Watch for storms developing AHEAD of the line of storms. Those will be the tornadic ones.
The storms with the front are going to have some nasty straight line winds and hail.
