Hip Hop in a Honky Tonk

This right here. People want to go to a bar that has a lot of people. Guys want to go where there are a lot of women. I HATED playing hip hop at my "honky tonk", but that is what got the women on the dance floor. They would dance to the country songs too but it was the booty shaking music they would request. The other part of the equation is driven by women. They don't care about the song as long as there is a beat they can dance to. The country bars have always played Hip Hop on Friday and Saturday nights, the women like to dance to it. And if you can get women in your bar, the men and their money will be there to pay for it.

Whats the difference between today's "country" and hip hop anyway? I swear to god, I would rather listen to the commercials on 92.5 than the crap they are spewing on 96.3 or 99.5.
I'm a bit of a country music purist, it died after the 80's and it really died in the late 90's.

This is why I normally go to the longhorn if I go to the stockyards. Only actual country.
Also the vast majority of men can't dance and country music requires a twosome for most of it.07 f250-family truckster
