what's so scary about remodeling a house?

well when u have to pack and move everything in a week (and i mean EVERYTHING) and move into my moms house with a 2 year old, and a pregnant wife that could give birth soon and all the money i dropped to fix the place to try and get it done hopefully before the lady pops so we can have a whole new house for the new born... it can be pretty nerve wrecking

Gotcha - I moved into my folks house while I handled repairing/replacing the big stuff(walls, carpet, etc...). Got the house done enough to move in and I am doing the smaller stuff as I go. This way I can come home from work and work on the house. Pretty much just have to do wallpaper removal in my bathrooms, repair and paint; then put down tile in the kitchen/dining/utility rooms.

Of course I don't have the Mrs. and/or any kids that I know of.

yeah we are completely gutting the house, new sheetrock, texture, paint, new windows, trims, doors, new wiring thruout the house, new carpet in all the rooms and living room, ceramit tile in the dining room and kitchen. the guy said he would be done in 2 weeks, the old lady is due the 29th... lets hope both parties are correct
