Yes this works, but be careful you will make chemical burns/scars on the areas. I know this from experience.

I was out clearing brush for so would could put up a fence... It was an all day ordeal and like most men, when I had to pee I would just walk off and pee. Well.. The next day I woke up with Poison Ivy EVERYWHERE all over my arms, face, legs, chest... and my dick and balls. It was fucking terrible.
