Just wondering. This is the internet...and fuck, even more-so this is dfw(mu)stangs. Are internet apologies the new way to make amends? Why not just worry about the people that you interact with in person on a regular basis and not those that you might have met at some point at a g2g at some random point in time? I'm not saying that people here aren't "real" people, but unless I've fucked over people here in the classifieds or something where something is exchanged in the real world I would never feel the need to apologize to anybody here for something that I typed on a keyboard in whatever state of mind I was in.

I guess that I just don't get it.

The apologies are just as pitiful as the people that are butt hurt over something that some 'internet person' typed.

I guess that I just don't get it.

Some people don't hide behind the whole "it's just the internet" argument when it comes to determining their accountability for their own comments and actions. But then again, usually those type of people aren't the ones putting themselves in a position to have to make amends or apologize.

Some just change their screen names to avoid needing to apologize for their actions.
