I'll take a brick oven Italian pizza over any of this bullshit these people are talking about. And I don't mind paying $15 for it either. Hell, even the frozen Chicago style that you can get shipped from Lou Malnati's is better than any of the junk mentioned in this thread.

To be honest, I would have taken her somewhere else if I had the money. She liked it just fine and they had taco pizza & bbq pizza... so I was able to have a fairly decent experience when I truly expected it to suck schwettybawls.

It was also much better than my previous experience which was back high school circa '96. I might actually consider taking my whole brood of children back sometime. Once I'm done paying for 2 adults and 4 kids, that shit is just nuts. It would be nearly $40 at cici's.

You said you haven't been there in 15 years. They have changed a lot since then. I used to go back then with the rest of the football team in high school. It was cheap, not great, but we could get our fill. It's much, much better now, although it's still buffet pizza.

It also depends on the one you go to. There was a good one by my house that closed shop a year or so ago because the Tongans would camp out and eat everything as soon as it came out of the oven. That had to suck. There is one in Coppell that I go to sometimes for lunch, and it's as good as Cici's is going to get. They stopped the cheese bread several months ago. I always have them make me a fresh pizza so I don't have to fight everyone for the last piece of dried up pizza that has been sitting forever. Just like ordering one to go - it's much better than getting it off the buffet line. The closest one to me now is in bedford, and it's been pretty bad every time I've gone. So, I don't really go much anymore.

I tried Double Dave's a few years ago, and it was inedible! We literally left and went somewhere else to eat. Fucking gross!

Cici's beats Little Ceasar's too. All day every day.

And if those numbers posted above are correct, then Cici's loses their ass when I eat there!

Whenever we eat pizza, (rare, but once in a while) we usually go to Joe's Pasta and Pizza or Lushaj's (sp?) in Bedford.

I didn't say I expected anything from it, but people are posting it's "not too bad" and "ain't bad for six bucks". Sure it is cheap food, but tasting good it does not. If you were selling prime rib and high quality steaks I bet only the cheapskates would be bitching since they wouldn't want to pay the premium for it.

Have you ever just ordered a pizza from Cici's and not do the buffet thing? It's like $6.00 for a 1 topping large, and it's actually pretty good IMO. Much better than the $5.55 cardboard shit that Little Ceasars sales.

I don't understand how they make money when people only eat half the pizza and throw it away. The stacks of wasted food I see is sickening. Same people probably bitch at their kids for not eating everything at home.
