I have a partial picture of the ad still (it was listed for 4k). The guy was leaving for CA that morning with his 7 kids to go live with his dying father.
It was at a diesel shop off of Western Center Blvd in Watauga.

I thought it was a scam, but he had a number. I called, showed up at 4am, and went to work with a new truck It sits in the driveway, paid for, at $3500
You can even talk to the shop that the owner had left the truck at.
