Beats me, I come from a long line of successful black men too.Originally posted by line-em-up View PostI have worked with several successful black guys over the years that I highly respect. They act professional and their skin color never comes into the equation. What prevents other black guys from achieving the same goals?THE BAD HOMBRE

There's the thing right there, FAIR. Life isn't fair. If the person is white/black/asian/hispanic and they aren't qualified for WHATEVER reason, they shouldn't be awarded anything. I mean, on the other side, would you like to be rewarded something based on some pre-determined reason/quota other than you are capable? That's what drives people to work harder and strive, not given.Originally posted by naynay View PostIt's written that minority company's (gender or race) have to be awarded a fair share of the contracts. Why is it you think blacks can't compete with every other race on an equal ground? Affirmative action is institutionalized racism, HBCU are racists, and for the most part, some of the worst racists are...black.Originally posted by naynay View PostHow can you say a female owned trucking company is not as competent as a male owned trucking company?
Remind me how many countries you have been to to speak from experience on how blacks are treated in other countries.I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Tell me how many hbcu's have no white students? My sister graduated from Howard in 98 I would say every race/ethnicity was represented at her graduation ceremony.Originally posted by Forever_frost View PostWhy is it you think blacks can't compete with every other race on an equal ground? According to statistics gathered by the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, for example, 8 percent of public HBCU student enrollment is White, 2 percent is Latino and 1 percent is Asian.Originally posted by naynay View PostTell me how many hbcu's have no white students?
