What the fuck does recommending a server have to do with a place being too uppity? Do you know what uppity means, Geof?

Del Frisco's is uppity. A bunch of snooty, entitled, brats; servers included. I've yet to have a good experience there. Everyone (servers included) seems to look down on other people.

Bob's is laid back. I can walk in wearing jeans, and feel comfortable. I can get a little loud, and not feel a hole being stared through me. I simply told him who to ask for, should he go there. That server has been there since they opened (one of very few left), and is one of, if not the best server on the staff. He is also a steak and wine guy, knows his shit, and won't steer anyone wrong. So tell me again, what does making a recommendation have to do with being uppity? I suppose if I made a recommendation on what steak to order, that's uppity too? Dumbass.

Nick and Sams is good. Pappas is meh. Del Frisco's is too uppity for me. Bobs is real laid back.

Do NOT go to Bobs Plano, or Ft Worth. I only vouch for Grapevine.

It's awesome. Quality steaks, proper dry aging, the most attentive wait staff you'll ever experience and the owner himself will come out and greet you. Their cigar bar is pretty cool too.

No vote for H3? I love that place for breakfast or dinner.

For chain style steak we do Saltgrass a few times an R&R. This last visit I went in and had a 24oz bone in ribeye and it was awesome.

Love and War is another chain style place we like but it is a drive from where we live.

Bone Daddys has an awesome steak! It's kind of expensive ($30.00), but really good. But wear dark shades so she doesnt slap the piss out of you.

If I'm not grilling it myself, then it's Sullivans.

    My grill.
I go to Central market and pick up a buffalo tenderloin, get the grill up to about 700 degrees and cook it up to a perfect medium rare.
Better than anything I have ever had anywhere else.

Beat me to it ! WITHOUT A DOUBT !!

We went there for my buddy's birthday one day during our lunch break, then went for my birthday, and DAMN, it was awesome !! Two different locations and the same amazing food and service at both.

There's one in Addison on Belt Line and Addison Rd, then there's one down by Oak Lawn, a little north of the West End.

That has been my favorite so far as well. I really like that place.

I want to try Nick and Sams since we've had some experience at most others that have been mentioned.

He speaks the truth when he says Jeremy will take care of you. He's a top notch server and his recommendations were all spot on. Bob's was really good, too. I would put it up there with Del Frisco's IMO. Their crab cakes are to DIE for!

Bleh. Their salad bar rocks, but I prefer Boi na Braza (sp?) in Colleyville.
