                Precision Karting of Dallas
Closes early as Bob is a "morning" person as he says.

                It's also race night.

On Southwell in the mist of the I-35 rebuild,

                What are you treating ?

I was thinking about transmission gears but I see mixed results

The process is in conjunction with tempering and heat treating. Just freezing the metal doesn't do much. I had a customer running a cobalt or something similar that tried that route and had terrible luck. In fact, he said it didn't last any longer than the used units I s selling him.

I figured the weak point wasn't the gears themselves, but the slack or weak case letting the gears move around.

We cryo'd a bunch of stuff for the Camaro racecars back in 2010-2011. I took it all to a guy in Waco who did the stuff at his house/barn. If you don't find anything local, I'll look around for his card.
