So is anyone else heading to the FW Saucer's Beerfeast this weekend?

Raison D'Extra, Uncle Jacob's stout, Stickee Monkee, Abt 12 Oak Aged, Uinta Labyrinth and a freakin Lobstah Beer.

I'm a fan. I find myself going for all the Oktoberfests lately, which is kinda odd for me.

Oh, btw, this was GREAT. Solid recommendation! I haven't liked much of the coffee stuff in the past, but this one is perfect. So much flavor packed into that bottle.

All the red dots are breweries downtown within walking distance. Very different from here.

Thurs through Sat were mostly in the same neighborhood lol.

I'd say Black Shirt is doing pretty good. It was interesting trying a place that only does reds.

How is Black Shirt doing these days? Crafting a Nation was a pretty good documentary.

Btw at last years Beerfeast I had way more Rumpkyn than I should have. They always have something rare from Avery on tap and with VIP you get all you want.

Caves in Arlington has their Oktoberfest party this Sat. They have the typical beer on tap and big ass steins and everyone dressed in Oktoberfest garb.

The FW Flying Saucer's Beerfeast is 10/10

Great holiday stocking stuffers from gift cards to graphic tees.

    Untapped Dallas is 11/7

I went to the Denver Oktoberfest this past Fri and Sat. Pretty cool. Didn't drink the beer, but had some food. Jagged Mountain was close and had some damn good stuff.

Also Panther Island won silver with their Allergeez which is awesome because I think it's the first time they've ever competed. Rabbit Hole's brown ale also won a silver. Twin Peaks even won a bronze with their barrel aged brown ale, although I've never actually seen this beer.

An awesome showing from DFW area breweries. Even though somehow Grapevine, Lakewood and Peticolas didn't make the list. I imagine they'll be back next year though.

    The complete list is https://www.greatamericanbeerfestiva...ition/winners/
    I was there.

Went to a tasting promotion put on by Big Bend Brewing last week, their promotion guy is just a cool old man that will bullshit and drink all night, had a great time. All their beers are good, but I tried their Oktoberfest on tap for the first time and would definitely recommend it. La Fontera is still my favorite. If any of yall are ever in Midland hit up the Beer Garden for some quality beers.

I also got 4 free pint glasses out of the deal.
