Sportlines are supposed to be something like 1.7" front and 2.0" rear. I couldn't stand the funny little gap over the front tire (look at the first pic I posted) so I trimmed the springs a half coil. Now it's lowered about 2" all the way around. Yes, Tokicos are shocks and struts.

Because lowering the car means the stock shocks / struts are no longer operating in their optimal designed range. Not to mention the improved performance of upgraded / aftermarket pieces.

The stock shifter isn't bad at all, just needs a little help.

Again, having had an MGW on my old Mustang for about 5 years, I will suggest that although it is pricey, it is worth it. I absolutely loved mine.

Actually yeah, I did it just because I wanted to. The car rode fine with the stockers (it is a Brembo GT and has somewhat better shocks/struts than a standard GT) but I wanted the adjustability. Right now I have them on Cadillac-soft, but I can make them rattle your teeth out.

I agree completely. I've had MGW's in my last 4 Mustangs. But I didn't buy one for this car. They weren't shipping the week that I was ready to buy, and being antsy, I really wanted to spend some money. I bought the Barton, along with the bracket, and haven't really regretted it. Really good shifter, for considerably less money.
