Most cars running coil packs fire on the exhaust stroke also, like the GM systems and the ford EDIS. it is called a waste spark ignition system. The coils fire on two cylinders each time, one at (near) TDC on the compression stroke, and one at TDC on the exhaust stroke.Originally posted by Dave View PostI don't remember but I think it fires on the exhaust stroke as well??? They were on the opposite side of the head.
As far as the firing of the duel plug engines, everything I have read says they are fired at the same time.
