Perhaps the laws are different there, but those stops signs are not on public roadway at the wal mart here. That is still considered private property and a complete stop is merely a suggestion, regardless of there actually being a sign.

Every time I read one of these stories I think about a few people I know and what they would be saying while everything was going down. I'd have to keep myself from laughing during the entire thing while I mentally counted money. I figure that might hurt my case on how distressing it was.
