    Adverse possession, like David said. It couldn't fly today and it won't. The was something more for abandoned homes during the frontiers and wartime recovery when an occupying force is driven out. This dude is half-baked to try that shit.

            Also happened a lot in Plano. One individual is now in Denton County Jail for filing fraudulent documents to acquire property of more than $200k.
