Maybe a family member who has been denied justice solves this problem for us. There I said since we have all been thinking it.

He is going to get off the hook again if they catch him, blame the mother then write a movie about how everything was his mother's fault

Apples and oranges man. Our mistakes never killed anyone or left anyone paralyzed. All mistakes are not created equally.

I don't disagree with your second point. I will say though, that I don't think prison will teach him a lesson either.

You seem to be buying in to this whole "affluenza" thing. That is a cop out, and you know it. Several of my friends are children of multi millionaires, and somehow, not a single one of them managed to kill anyone, much less 4, and severely injure others. Having money does not mean you don't know the difference between right and wrong. Shitty parenting sure does though.

Pretty low of you to bring Al's kids in to it. Be careful what you say. That could be your son that gets killed while helping someone change a tire on the side of the road. I'd pay good money to see you tell family members of the deceased it was just an accident and he is just a kid.

That dumb ass kid and his douche bag parents are in Costa Rica living it up with fake identities I'd wager.

    Laws don't apply to them.

Because sitting in the 'big boy jail' taught you so much, right? I guess that's where you learned to troll.

Something tells me you weren't THAT kid, but I get what you're saying. You were a young, dumb, moronic teen doing foolish things. I get it. Sadly, the only major thing that has changed for you is that you're no longer young. Having a $600K house, raising a child in Plano, etc. is no different that being flat broke, living in the projects, and raising a kid. There are always challenging circumstances in every situation. Good parenting and strong core values do not succumb to a lack of wealth or an excess. You want to place blame, start by looking in the mirror. The young adult (he's not a kid) is a POS because his parents are a POS, and neither did anything to change that.

I read somewhere that the judge gave him probation because he couldn't screw up for ten years, if the judge would have given him jail time, he would have been out in a couple of years anyway. This way he couldn't screw up for ten years... And he's screwing up.

Can his parents be put in jail too, just for being dumb ass parents.

How big your house is or what kind of a car has little to do with it when you're never disciplined. His parents didn't discipline him, ever. As a matter of fact he was encouraged. They gave him a car when he was 12 to drive to school. 12. After his teacher said he couldn't drive to school, his dad went up there and told him he could buy the school if he wanted. He was smoking and drinking shortly after.

That is a huge difference compared to having a parent with money who tries to teach right and wrong vs a parent who has money and teaches you nothing.

saying that to say, the kids i knew that died from heroin in the late 90s early 2000s, were by no stretch poor. they had the biggest houses with the nicest cars, and usually the supplied the work.

He was caught partying playing beer pong, that is why he is on the run. He obviously hasn't learned any lesson.

Watch the 20/20 series from a few months ago on him and his parents. You will quickly change your mind.
