No worries. Rather deal with someone on the board than someone on Craiglist

I dont know what the connection, but most of the Craigslist robberies you hear about are for cell phones.
Ya I pretty much had a bad vibe about it after trying to arrange a time and place to meet. It always struck me as odd that he didn't want to meet at the AT&T store and him flop flopping on the time today just settled it for me. Might look a little today for a local phone on Criaglist otherwise I'm either going to buy a Nexus 5 or look on eBay.

Screw this. So I texted the guy to confirm the time to meet and now he's telling me 10pm instead of the 7pm because he has to work late. I told him thanks but no thanks. Than he tries to change it and say he can leave work early than. This whole deal was more drama than I cared for. Still looking

i went thru this last week im 7 months from an upgrade, I wasted time meeting someone
and being assured it was ok and for att, i show up and its for sprint..
and i also find about a scam like someone said, about it being reported stolen.
Before you could say it was stolen and no big deal, now they blacklist the phone after being reported stolen, and the network locks it out..
i bet somone can unlock it but hell its too much work, i ended up finding a phone repair place that sells used ones that i guess are rebuilt and look like new
    good luck

What phone are you trying to purchase, and for what price? Many pawn shops carry phones as well. Just a thought.

Let that crackhead scam somebody else... if you've gotta have another phone, go to a legit seller and save yourself a bunch of trouble.

Pull it apart, check the imei to make sure it matches, just remember the last 4 of the one he gave you. Check battery and back of phone for water damage, or that they didn't pull the water detection sticker off.

That's cool, just verify that is the same one you get and you should be clear.
