3500 members moved ..
Looks to most of the crew the site owner is doing damage control
Must have it in the contract ..
He is failing

Guest repliedOriginally posted by John -- '02 HAWK View Postwould have been nothing more than a hollow threat. they would run into too many obstacles like claiming the they own oem information. Imagine VS claiming they own tech information about ford's products. Ford would shut them down in a heart beat. Or obstacles such as saying they own personal information about your life, ACLU would be all over that.
That's an interesting take. Wouldn't I "own" the intellectual property in my own posts? I use intellectual loosely of course.

VS has tried to mess with the site several times by adding even more ads, and pirate's community has been very fast to pull in the old owners (who are still active with the site). VS has also tried to push ads from disreputable corps and the contract that was established even takes care of some of that.
The contract even has a content clause to protect the gun forum, but VS didnt have much issue with it because its just more ad traffic (VS leans to the antigun side)

Why can't I state my opinion?
You absolutely can, within the forum rules. If your opinion is of something other than the thread topic, if you become argumentative or insulting, etc., then your post may get deleted and you may get an infraction.
