When the captain and other admins apologize, you know they fucked up badly. That doesn't come out every day as it's an admission of wrong doing. I hope he winds up owning that officer's house, car and his pension.

Also, at least around here, it seems that unmarked cars generally don't do average traffic stops(for speeding, lights out, etc...). From what I've seen, they would have a marked car pull them over for the traffic stop and then the unmarked pulls up for the search.

Maryland and Virginia have more unmarked than marked cars. It's insane.

You're talkin' about the crazy that IS the east coast. I left my family in the dust when I learned to drive. We had a beach house in OC, MD & I grew up in NJ/PA/DE/MD...Those cops & "their ideas" of the law are idiotic.

Maryland is super aggressive about pulling hillbillies over and searching their vehicles for guns. I had people late for work because they were coming back from Hagerstown or something, and they'd get stopped at the PA border and searched. I'd bet money this Floridian did what you are trained to do in CHL states, and handed the officer his CHL. If you do that in Maryland, you just turned the encounter into a felony stop, and they'll take your car apart to find what they're sure is in there. Fuckers.

OC cruise is still not bad to go to every now and again, however every year that goes by they volunteer more wannabe cops from local schools. They have no policing powers, but wear a badge and an attitude and are sure fun to fuck with.

So here's a question for you local leos. When I was pulled over a couple of weeks ago, how is it that they knew I had a chl before even getting to the door?
