The Concentra here in Waco was full of truck drivers last week, now I know why.

When you figure it out, post up. I'm in the exact same boat. I'd hate to lose my cdl.

The wording I read was that if you don't submit a med card your cdl could be reduced to a class c non commercial. Sounds like a money grab for the medical lobby but it is on the books.I bet they start cutting cdls there will be an uproar. Time will tell .

That is correct. They are working to get the med card tied to your license.

Holy shit!! That sucks. I suppose I need to get my medical card done even though I'm not currently driving.

If you only drive for the government you don't have to have the medical exam. I got lucky that way.

It's a simple form that you submit with a copy of your medical card.

My license expired in Sept of 13 and when I got it renewed I was informed that I had to get the medical form or the CDL portion would drop off on Jan.30th like you guys. I'm unemployed and have no insurance...so I cant afford to get it done...so I guess I'm gonna let it go.

I was told uninsured people would be charged about $100 bucks at a Concentra or comparable.
