Nice find, but you'd be lucky to jump start a motocycle with those cables.

The cheap set I carry in the Suburban can't be any larger than 10 gauge and I have never had an issue with them and have used them several times. As long as it's light duty vehicle to light duty vehicle I'm sure they would be more than enough.

I think I'd rather do that than spend $170 on jumper cables!

A 10 gauge jumper cable will work so long as the vehicle you are jumping just has a weak battery and isn't completely dead. If the vehicle you are jump starting is solely relying on your car to start on, you need something like a heavy set of 4 gauge cables at least. For the person that carries a set of cables for the every so often chance they might need a little boost these are great. If you are stranded, your battery is hammered, and these are all you've got, good luck. I've thrown more sets of cheap cables away than I can count. Our work cables are made from heavy duty clamps and welding lead. I've been here almost 17 years and this set was here long before me.

All that said, for 7 bucks thats a good deal.
