I used to spend $50k+ a day paying claims for Warrantech, I know for a fact they covered a lot more than they denied. If the contract gives them a way out of course they'll take it, I mean that's why they write a contract. It's not a matter of give me your money and I don't give you anything in return. You pay me for an agreed upon service with a small amount of risk. If you don't follow the terms of the contract don't expect the administrator to pay your claim.Originally posted by Silverback View PostI've never had an aftermarket warranty cover anything I've claimed
They tend to use deceptive marketing and generally the person selling the contract doesn't explain anything. However your contract is with the administrator, not the salesperson. Read it, understand it and if you don't agree with it don't buy it. They are written to guarantee it'll be profitable.
I've personally done pretty well with extended warranties, but then again I know how they work and I know what questions they'll ask and what answers they expect.

This is what I did. 125k mile warranty for I think about 1500 through FordOriginally posted by dblack1 View PostOver 100k on the truck yet? If not get a ford esp that will cover for 7 years from in service or 200k. I know someone who got major hosed on aftermarket warranty on a 6.0
I've had around 20 ESP warranties and they are awesome. Ive actually got a 07 6.0 getting a long block due to a injector tip damaging cylinder right this moment.I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool
