Cool. Still a good smoke. Enjoy it. Drink a sweet drink with it. Sweet tea, dr. Pepper, shiner bock.Originally posted by PGreenCobraI can't get over the fact that you get to go live the rest of your life, knowing that someone made a Halloween costume out of you. definitely going to have a few brews with this one. the guy punched it and gave me some cedar strips to light it.Originally posted by DON SVO View PostCool. Still a good smoke. Enjoy it. Drink a sweet drink with it. Sweet tea, dr. Pepper, shiner bock.
he put it in a Ziploc for me, will it be good until tomorrow evening?
also, he looked pretty buzzed to me, guessing the stronger ones will sit your ass down? lol
I really am not looking for much of a buzz, was never a huge fan of that nicotine feeling.

A good cigar will sit you down. I smoke with some regularity and there's still a few that will, as BERNIE MOSFET says, blow my face off.Originally posted by dsrtuckteezy View Postdefinitely going to have a few brews with this one. the guy punched it and gave me some cedar strips to light it.

Sweetness counteracts the cigar. Nothing more than a suggestion.Originally posted by Cooter View Postnothing like a fine cigar and a glass of Dublin's finest

as per Don, I try to drink water with lemon with my cigars. It definitely helps you get a little more flavor out of the cigar. I really enjoy drinking beer with/ or before a cigar- I find I enjoy the flavor and buzz a bit more after a few. That said some beer just does not work with certain cigars. I had a padron 1964 with a miller fortune last night and it was perfect, but the same beer with my LFD ligero tonight didn't work at all and ended up ditching it for a water. I'm told I need to try scotch and stogies, so that is next.
Don- what do you keep your humi at?2012 GT500

67-68%, typically it hangs out around 67.5. That video I sent you has the gauge visible, in the top right.Originally posted by Cobraman View PostDon- what do you keep your humi at?
Buena Ventura. It made the top 25 this year and can be had for under $7.Originally posted by Pokulski-Blatz View PostDon - care to recommend some lower priced cigars? I wouldn't mind giving it a go.
CAO La Traviata, I would try the natural wrapper (lighter shade) first. Oddly enough, I'll recommend both the Perdomo Fresco and the Flor De Oliva maduro. They're both cheapies ($4 and under!) and have good flavor. They're not great, obviously, but they're a pretty good ROI @ $4 each!
I finished off last night with this critter:
