I'm just specific in what I like. American luxury cars are pretty far behind their european counterparts when it comes to materials and fit/finish. While I don't care about that stuff as much when I'm driving a venerable muscle car, I do care about it when I'm paying for luxury and end up with a lawn chair on wheels. I would like to find a car I don't want to sell. I didn't even like the 99 very much but kept it for 2 years.

Buying a manual again was a mistake. Buying a red car because I was tired of keeping a black one clean was a mistake, especially now that I've got a garage. Black interior was a mistake, and I knew I was probably going to regret that when I was buying it, but I was still in a foxbody mindset and I was being impatient, and just thankful it wasn't fucking grey.

I want something subtle, that will only stand out to people who like cars. When I was in Florida I couldn't put gas in that thing without someone wanting to talk to me about it, and while that is flattering, I am just not that type of person who wants to talk to people all the time, and frankly I don't give a shit what most of the mouthbreathers I encounter on a daily basis think about what I drive. In fact, I'm starting to think that trying to be nicer in the last year is actually backfiring and it is making me even more violently angry than I used to be.

    Sorry, Craig hijacked my laptop.

The interiors, while okay style wise, look like cheap plastic everywhere. Exteriors are alright. Grille is kind of stupid looking. Price is definitely right, but I've heard some pretty bad reviews on them falling apart after not too long. At least a German car falls apart in comfort.

Lmao - who'd have thought a thread on here would end up that way?

Accel's are junk. MSD is hit/miss. Best option for the money is Delphi.

As long as it has limo tint to hack off the HAMBers and pinner whites, that slab is ready to roll as is. Wish he put some interior pics up out of curiosity. Could throw a box with 15s in the trunk and still have room for 6 bodies.

Looks nice as it sits to me, the paint is even nicer than it was on my 57. Before any of you dickwads start thinking I'm seriously entertaining it, let me disavow you of it now. I'm possibly 15% considering it. 17% at most.

Well I've ruled out anything Lincoln. Looking closely at what they've made in the last 15 years, it's no wonder they are having difficulties. I did happen to run across this while looking. Hrm, would airbags make it ride like a new Caddy? So sexy.
