Can be had for under $16000? I found a real nice Two tone silver and black HD with 91K miles for $10,750. Seems very reasonable if it's in as good of condition as the owner states.

For a family and towing Id avoid one and get the 04+ model. The 02-03 Harley F150 look good and are fun in a straight line. The 04+ is better truck for everything else.

As a matter of fact it is for sale, 2002 HD, 65,000 miles and it is factory supercharged. It's bone stock except a 2" drop in the rear so it sits level, DSG with the stripe delete. 16K OBO

So far I have found 6 trucks within 300 miles of my house ranging from $9000-$13500 and mileage from 80,000-122,000 miles. I've even seen 2 of them with 255,000 miles on them so that's encouraging.

I had an 03 KR F150 and it was a great truck, just look for oil leaks on the front and back of the heads. They have an issue with the head gaskets, mine had to be replaced at 60k. You can google it there is lots of info on F150 forums, if I remember correctly 03 was the last year for the problem.
