How long do the soles on your boots last?

I'm just talking leather sole boots. How often do you wear them? How long do they last? If I wear them every day, I have holes in my soles in 6 months. Seems like an awfully short time.

What brand of boots? I have a pair of Justin's that it took me 3 years of every day wear before I had to have them resoled. Granted I only weigh 130 lbs.

The quality of the boot/leather can be a factor

redwings last me year to 18 months. Wear everyday working on rocks....

Doc martens here, leather on toe gives out before sole. Usually around 18-24 months.

I have a pair of Tony Llama's that the leather is in great condition in. The rubber heel cap not so much, I walk a bit heel heavy though.

Doc martens industrial boots work in them and wear them off duty...have had them for 3 years and soles have 75% left I would guess

I typically wear the factory heel caps off of any boot in <6 weeks. Thankfully my boot repair guy uses a harder heel cap that lasts much longer.

My twisted x boots lasted about 18 months before the back of the heel wore through. Every day working. I still wear them from time to time because they look nice.

I'm wearing Justin work boots now. 4 months in so far so good.

tennis shoes last about 300-500 miles. Wearing a whole through everything has to be triple that.

I've had my Doc Martens since 2000. But I only wear them if I'm going out and there is snow on the ground mostly.

I have a pair of Wolverine boots I wore for 6 years every day. The soles didn't wear out, the eyes on it did though but I do lace my boots up tight.
