That is still an option. But for 10k, getting a 4.0l tj is near impossible.

You just have to search. I got my '99 Jeep Wrangler Sport with 66k miles back in January for $8500. Found it on CL in New Braunfels. It's a 4.0, 5 speed, hard top, cold A/C, Hot Heat, Optional Dana 44 rear axle with 3.73 gears and Trac Loc Diff. I've been loving the crap out of it. I've had more fun with it in the past 2 months than I'd had with my '92 Mustang in the past 2 years.

FWIW - Another vote for a 3-series BMW. Coming from someone who's owned a lot of cars (and a few of those), I still like them a lot. If you choose carefully, get one that has been maintained well (and not ragged) they aren't too expensive to own and maintain, fairly economical, and still pretty fun to drive. Not bad to look at either.

No shit jeff.. He had called me several times over the last few days agreeing to the price and such. Came and saw it today and loved it.
