Yes, I've lived in Frisco, Plano, Richardson, and Carrollton the entire time I've been in the Dallas area. Midway, Preston, Plano Parkway, Coit, Park, Parker, etc etc are what I use. I don't like paying tolls.Originally posted by bcoop View PostHave you ever driven anywhere in the North Dallas/Plano/Frisco area? Toll roads have to be used, just about.sigpic

Yesterday I had to be at an appointment at the DNT and Westgrove, I was in a hurry, I took the 121(Hillcrest)-DNT-Keller Springs exit, it cost me $2.14 in total tolls. On the way home I took Westgrove to Preston up to Eldorado to my house, it was FREE! Albeit it took longer, but I didn't have to pay ANY tolls to get home.Originally posted by Magnus View PostYes, I've lived in Frisco, Plano, Richardson, and Carrollton the entire time I've been in the Dallas area. As being in the business of having borrowers, and having to collect debts, I do understand the practice of having late fees assessed, especially for covering court costs and other collection methods. People don't work for free. Pay your fucking debts or don't use the product. People should not be absolved of their own bad decisions and lack of responsibility. All too often people misdirect the real problem away from themselves by crying fowl on companies and creditors. This woman referenced about is not a innocent victim.Originally posted by Sean88gt View PostThen the debt should be the amount of the tolls, not the onerous fees that escalate a $300 bill into a $14,000 one.

And as Eric pointed out, we're heading the way of debtors prisons."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin

There is nothing worse than a weeping duck, I agree.

As far as sending someone to jail, I did that yesterday. It happens. There has to eventually be a serious consequence. I had a customer that refused to give me the vehicle. I could see it in his back yard. He wanted to do it the hard way. I filed a writ, he got served, refused to give up the vehicle to police, so he was held in contempt of court and he's in jail right now. It's the same as theft."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
