This isn't terrible advice, keep it simple. They still make quality stuff that compromises a large portion of my wardrobe. I've got some button downs that are 10 years old and still stylish. I concentrate on stuff that won't go out of style. Works for me.Originally posted by Trip McNeely View PostYou can never go wrong with Polo. Their style of clothing will never go out of style.
I also think that tailored shirts are the way to go in simple stripe and basic colors. Find someone for alterations. Ill fitting is worse than dated styling.

Wow...looks like we have some no style fools.
Proper fitting clothes are key. If you can afford custom tailored/made get them. Brand means nothing...and polo isn't going to get you a promo. Don't wear shirt shoes above all. They will make an outfit fall apart.

Starched Wranglers, Starched WHITE button down collar oxford cloth shirt, smooth ostrich ropers (SHINED), and nice belt with a plain but nice buckle. Oh yes, I forgot.....long sleeve shirt. If you are good at what you do and make good profit for the company, they won't care if you are in bib overalls.

Men's Wearhouse is good about helping you piece together a wardrobe, I have been happy with their service in the past. For business casual basics (slacks and button downs), Kohl's is my favorite. Good looking stuff at very reasonable prices.
