So I actually watched the video thinking wow I have never seen 100k in damages from a swat raid. Even if they pull a wall off the house it wouldn't cost that much to fix. I have also seen cities pay reasonable costs no problem when we have kicked doors, and caught the bad guy. So it was her son that was the armed robber. Not like they just picked a random house out of the blue and kicked the door in.

Now lets get to the damages. Lets say they broke out every fucking window in the house, and ripped the front door off of it. So new windows, nice new paint job on the interior, maybe some sheetrock, and a front door. What 15k tops. In reality probably 3k to 5k in damages. Her ass just wants to get paid and got denied. Yes it sucks he was not in there but this story is very one sided and misleading.

I am a get them while they are rolling around type of guy. Not a fan of no knock warrants etc., but this story is overblown.

You also have the CS infused in the studs and the walls and carpet. You have the structural damage from the projectiles themselves, glass, labor, permits oh and 2 years of interest. Don't want to pay up? Don't do this shit.

Oh I agree they should pay for it. I wouldn't just go off the home owners estimates though. They should have jumped right on it, and hired their own people. Story still appears to be missing something.

Most of the CS can be neutralized by turning the heat up to 95 and let it run for about 4-8 hours. Will there be some residual? Sure. But $100k, no way.
