In the old days I'd challenge him to a drinking contest. These days the best I could manage is seeing who can stay awake the latest. In another ten years, maybe we'll get to move on to the ever popular who can sleep through the night without getting up to take a piss contest.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Lazy kids don't study. I know this because I was a lazy kid. How do you know he's actually studying? Just because you see him with a textbook and no other distractions around, that doesn't mean he's studying, and it definitely doesn't mean he doesn't have some sort of learning disability. Did he do really well up until a certain point? If he's always struggled and just been passed on principle, rather than merit or achievement, he might just be trying to skate by while doing the minimum.Originally posted by Unicorn Jeff View PostHe does just fine studying. He is just very lazy about doing his homework and turning it in.
Is he evasive when talking about it? Does he seem embarrassed, offended, or angry when you bring it up? These are telltale signs of a learning disability, unless he was doing well and then all of a sudden his grades started dropping.

I was actually in bed at 6 a few nights ago. My sleep schedule is all over the map. For a long time I tried to keep it fairly standard, but then just said fuck it. I am now King of the Three Hour Afternoon Nap.
