I left my buyer info completely blank and they still gave me a document stating I was not liable from the sold date on the form.

Submit a VTR-34 to the dmv. Call them and get a customer service employees email. Email them the VTR-34 for the date you sold it. They will give you a letter to hand over to the photo enforcement agency. Let them pursue him. I got mine dropped that way. Fast forward 6 months he comes knocking on my door with my old license plate begging me to apply for a new title cause he lost it and cant afford a bonded title.

You're right it's not my problem. Just like them starving african kids on tv. Shit happens. He ran 1 light that only cost me some time. I feel his pain trying to avoid the bonded route fees so maybe I can pay it forward since some good things have come my way this year. Its costing me $5 and an hours pay for a new title. Plus the dude V8 swapped the xj and that's earned him some cool points.
